THE ARTH BEHIND OUR VILAS
Our vilas emerged through patience, devotion, and human presence.
It carries the rhythm of hands, the memory of craft, and the quiet authority of nature itself.
Here, bamboo stands as a living form. It breathes with the wind. It matures under the sun and listens to those who arrive in haermony.

A Living Presence
The vilas exists as a breathing home.
THE ESSENCE we hold close.
Each curve of bamboo holds attention. Each joint carries intention. Every surface remembers touch.
This home responds to climate, time, and presence. It cools, warms, expands, and rests. The vilas lives in dialogue with its surroundings, deepening its character with each season. Living here feels like dwelling within a living field.
THE MAKING
5000 bamboos. 250 hands. One shared breath.
Hands guided material. Time guided form. The land guided rhythm.
Over 365 days, rural artisans shaped the vilas through faith, patience, and the pulse of the land.
Every pillar, beam, and fold arises from the same living material. Bamboo travelled across the country to find its place here. Balcooa from Assam, Katanga from Madhya Pradesh, Giganteus from Arunachal Pradesh, Bijli and Lathi Baans from Maharashtra, each carried its own strength, flexibility, and character. Together, they formed a unified body and what emerged was a breathing ecosystem. a meeting of ancestral hidden craft and consciousness.

THE PHILOSOPHY
Every decision here begins with one question, if it honors life.
life as the First Principle.
The vilas stands as a living symphony where sustainability expresses itself as daily practice. Born as nature, living alongside nature, and evolving with nature, the vilas forms part of a larger ecosystem envisioned by Dr. Balram Kisan and Wing Commander Anjali Iyer (Retd.).
Their guiding philosophy of self-sustainable environment and economy flows through every layer of arthvilas.
Renewable materials, local craftsmanship, biodiversity, wellness, and livelihood weave together into one continuous thread. This harmony unfolds through land, cows, residents, and the devotional rhythm of the nearby ISKCON ecosystem.
THE EXPERIENCE OF LIVING HERE
Living within the vilas unravels as sensory recalibration.
